means fundamental change of consciousness and heart
it takes courage to wake up.
It takes courage to see, through the lens of who we really are.
It takes courage to be vulnerable and to recognise that we are one.
A beautifully daring mess in perfect balance. Everything is connected.

This exhibition was held in Casa improvável, the base of the Azores Atlantik Surfers in Livramento, São Miguel, Açores.
Martina Trepczyk exhibited her works of art and activism. Although they might seem coming from different ends at first, quickly the reveal the same soft core cœur and a strong spine.
“The root of the word courage is cor – the Latin word for heart. Courage originally meant ʻto speak one’s mind by telling all one’s heart.ʼ Vulnerability is our most accurate way to measure courage. We can measure how brave you are by how vulnerable you’re willing to be. “ — Brené Brown
These four short films were showcased:
as well as a selection of photographs

A warm hearted thank you goes to my friend Carin.
She translated the press text into Portuguese and thereby made every word sound even more beautiful. Obrigada!
This exhibition would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my Azorean family.
Obrigada Bruno, Marco, Yao and Carin and Jijili Roofio.
