an ode to the sea and to courage
The future we hold is in our very own hands.
The cameras I hold, the vision I carry,
the creation, the hands and hearts of those I meet
- in my hands.
That deep emotional connection to what you love is in my eyes, what sparks fundamental and lasting change.
Blending what may look like two different ends of the spectrum – ethical underwater wild life photography and conceptualised sensual art – into one exhibition. As for me, they speak the same language. Have you ever witnessed the presence of a tiger shark under water? Have you ever seen a woman rise after fall and speak her truth? Have you ever seen an arched back carrying liberation instead of weight of generations?
What you see is a collection of photographs taken in the happiest times of my life on remote islands, seas and rivers – assembled in the darkest time of my life. The willingness to die a hundred deaths, rapture, giving in and the reclamation of myself. Strong spine and an open heart.
it was about time I brought the sea to the city of Vienna.
What others felt
We brought the sea to the city

“What you are not changing, you are choosing.”
– africa brooke
Words that give me goosebumps every single time. When we look at the global climate crisis – we have to understand that it is in its core a humanitarian crisis, a spiritual crisis – a deep lack of empathy, connection and admiration for what is right in front of us and the belief that some lives are worth more than others. Greed is what brought us here, overwhelm is what paralyses us.
And that quote above is like an anchor I turn to, that reminds me of how much impact my choices have. It reminds me to go within. It starts with me.
It begins with you.
