  • Directing

Film directing is a multifaceted role that requires a keen understanding of storytelling, technical skills, and collaboration. With 12 years of experience in documentary and commercial projects, I bring a clear, artistic and delicate vision to life backed by a strong message.

  • Cinematography

I create underwater and on land. With experience of 12 years as Director of Photography, I love to shoot projects that matter. Digital or analog. Personally, I have a fable for super-8 film, which I love to bring as a signature staple into my work, into documentary as well as commercial projects. I shoot on my selection of vintage Leica R and Olympus OM lenses.

  • Portraiture

Authentic, intimate, raw portrait photography as an antidote to all those glossy, exchangeable shots. I love to capture and bring out the natural sides of a person, be it the true wild, true delicate but above all: something true.

  • Licencing

Elevate your projects with state of the art underwater cinematography, in both still and motion image. My work offers a unique perspective and was labelled as the “love child of Vogue and National Geographic” by a trusted client.

My underwater cinematography adds a layer of depth and intrigue. Whether you're looking to convey a message of conservation, beauty, or exploration, my licensed materials provide impactful storytelling opportunities for documentary, marketing purposes or commercial projects.

  • Editing

As a film editor, I specialise in bringing together the various elements of a film to create a cohesive and engaging narrative. Through meticulous editing techniques, maintaining high production standards and an incredible sense for pace and rhythm, story telling and the dramatic arc, I create and edit that resonates with audiences varying from shortest to long form formats.

  • Colour Grading

Color Grading in film is a crucial post-production service that enhances visual aesthetics. More than a simple Colour Correction, the adjustment of basic settings, such as colour temperature, white balance, brightness, contrast and saturation – Colour Grading aims to create a specific mood and tailored atmosphere that goes hand in hand with the storyline. In my opinion, great Colour Grading truly sets the tone of the film. Consistency across scenes or emphasis on certain elements establishes visual storytelling. This meticulous artistry transforms raw images into a cohesive visual experience and was gathered during my 12 years as a filmmaker. I’m working on the latest version of DaVinci Resolve.

  • Lecturing & Speaking

Hire me as a speaker for tailored workshops, guest lectures or masterclasses. I brought a wonderful format to life called “Ocean Talks” that combine my strengths as born storyteller and ocean advocate. My online workshop is currently in the making.

My expertise ranges throughout various aspects of filmmaking and photography, ethics of documentary filmmaking, colour grading in still and moving image. From my years of solo travel with tech equipment in hand and capturing wild life up close as well as my academic education, I am confident to consult.
