Analog portraits of students on a remote fisherman island. Daughters and sons of Bajak Laut (Bahasa) translated as Bad Men from the Sea since there is no word for pirate in the Indonesian language. Condemned to fish sharks as other, smaller fish stock has been drained to the brink, the young generation is hoping to turn the tide. As their fathers transistion from shark fishing to tourism, kids of all ages from the island learn to love sharks.
