The Soul of Space –
An Atelier Karasinski Manifesto

Directed, shot, edited, colour graded & produced by Martina Trepczyk

Step into a world where history, artistry, and emotion merge—a living manifesto brought to life through the lens of filmmaker Martina Trepczyk. In this dreamlike archive video, art director and interior designer Laura Karasinski unveils the credo behind Atelier Karasinski: a dedication to preserving beauty, honouring craftsmanship, and breathing new life into forgotten spaces.

This visual journey captures the soul of a transformed space, now open to the public—a curated wonderland where vintage and preloved furniture finds new purpose. Handmade collectible pieces from the 1900s to the 1970s coexist with contemporary vision, demonstrating Laura’s commitment to sustainability, storytelling, and timeless design.

Twice nominated as the sole Vienna-based female interior designer on the prestigious AD100 list, Laura has spent the past decade shaping interiors with a deep respect for history and materiality. More than a showcase of her work, this film is a proof of concept—a poetic portfolio revealing how Atelier Karasinski approaches transformation, not just of spaces, but of perception itself.
